New Juventus manager Igor Tudor gave the starting job back to Dusan Vlahovic after he had lost it under Thiago Motta, but the Serb didn’t score and didn’t play too well in the last two matches.
The Bianconeri need at least one of their two strikers to get going. As Corriere dello Sport points out, the ex-Fiorentina last hit the net in Round 26 versus Cagliari, which was just his second goal in 2025.
Randal Kolo Muani got off to a stellar start at Juventus, but he has fallen into a drought too. He last found the target in early February. He wasn’t fielded in Tudor’s debut, while he played about roughly 20 minutes versus Roma.
As for the future, the Old Lady might start from scratch at the position. Vlahovic is unlikely to stay despite his rediscovered prominence, as his renewal is dead in the water. However, it’ll take time, and he’ll likely lead them in the Club World Cup. Instead, they’ll have to talk with PSG to have the Frenchman for the entirety of that competition and in the future.
While their officials dream of finding a way to convince Napoli to sell Victor Osimhen to them, Jonathan David is a more attainable target, but he’d still be pricey despite his free agent status.
Tudor can give trust and minutes to the former, but he can’t fix his first touch, attitude, and ability to interplay with his teammates. He’s good only when he’s fed abundantly in the box. They have easier games coming up where it’ll be possible to field them both together.
