Juventus are well-positioned in the races to sign Jonathan David and Jadon Sancho, although both chases need work to have positive outcomes. New director Damien Comolli is in touch with the entourage of the former and with Manchester United.
According to TuttoSport, there’s an agreement in principle in place concerning the salary, about €7M add-ons included. However, between the commissions and the signing bonus, his camp demands roughly €30M. It’s way too much for the Old Lady, which would like to spend less than €20M on the accessory costs.
Fenerbahce are rivaling Juventus for both David and Sancho. They are big-game hunting to bolster their squad under José Mourinho. The Old Lady is also in touch with PSG to keep hold of Randal Kolo Muani. The two teams are bargaining another loan, but there are divergences about whether to include an option or an obligation buy and its amount. The Ligue 1 side wishes to set it at €55M, the counterparty at €40M.
As for the Englishman, while it might not be too hard to concur to his evaluation with Manchester United, he makes €15M per year.
While the requests of the former have discouraged a few teams, they can’t wait to solve the Dusan Vlahovic saga. There’s a non-zero chance that signing him would cost them Kolo Muani. They might not take the risk of having three pricey forwards, so they have to weigh that too. The wages of the winger are disproportionate for Serie A standards. While it’s always unlikely with players in their prime, they must have received reassurances he’ll take a pay cut if they are really furthering their pursuit.
