Juventus could be among the teams competing to sign Theo Hernandez from Milan in the summer, should they sell Andrea Cambiaso to Manchester City. The fullback is pondering his future amid the stalling negotiation to renew his contract, which is up in 2026.
According to TeleLombardia (via Virgilio), the Bianconeri could offer about as much as Como did in January, €40M, for the Frenchman after cashing in on their fullback. He’d be keen on returning to Real Madrid, but they are close to signing Alvaro Carreras from Benfica instead, Marca reports.
Per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are still in the dark concerning the future of Theo Hernandez and haven’t received real offers from Juventus, Los Blancos, or any other side. They don’t rule out his extension or permanence on an expiring deal. He wouldn’t be guaranteed the starting job and would likely leave for free next year in that case, as Davide Calabria did.
As for their other linchpins, the future of Mike Maignan is fully up in the air. The opening Manchester City bid for Tijjani Reijnders won’t be close to the Rossoneri’s valuation, €70M. The front office will have to tweak its proposal to re-up with Christian Pulisic. He’s tied to them until 2027. There aren’t big concerns on this front for now.
Even at a reduced rate given his contractual situation and paltry season, he’s way more precious than Calabria. A Bosman exit would be a black eye. At the same time, the Old Lady should refrain from going after overpaid and mercurial veterans.
