Juventus and Manchester United have reportedly contacted Viktor Gyokeres’ agents, as Arsenal have put talks on hold to focus on Benjamin Sesko.
Juventus have targeted Sporting CP star Gyokeres as a possible reinforcement for the 2025-26 campaign.
Tuttosport already reported that the Sweden international was a ‘dream signing’ for the Bianconeri, despite interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano explained the situation in depth, revealing that talks between the Gunners and Gyokeres were on hold.

Arsenal, in fact, have made Benjamin Sesko their priority option in attack, leaving room for other clubs to explore a deal for Gyokeres.
According to Romano, Manchester United had contacts with Gyokeres’ camp last week, but the Red Devils may struggle to finalise a deal due to financial reasons, especially given their lack of Champions League football revenues for the 2025-26 season.

Romano confirmed that even Juventus had had contacts with Gyokers’ agents over the weekend.
“We know it’s complicated for Italian clubs to make these kinds of deals,” noted Romano.

“I’m not saying Juventus will sign Gyokeres, but I can guarantee that Juventus called over the weekend to be informed about the situation.”
