Christopher Nkunku is on Inter Milan’s list of targets if a move for Ademola Lookman falls through according to journalist Matteo Moretto.
The Blues have been busy this summer, and agreed a deal for Jorrel Hato on Wednesday evening, having already signed Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
Chelsea are still working on a deal to sign RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons, and are believed to be in advanced negotiations with the Bundesliga outfit.
Whilst it’s great to see the squad being strengthened, the Blues also have a number of players they need to move on.
Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, Djordje Petrovic and Kepa Arrizabalaga have all left, but Chelsea still have plenty of work to do.
Another player who needs to be moved on is Nkunku, and the 27-year-old is seemingly surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

Nkunku is attracting interest from Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, whilst Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also said to be keeping tabs.
Chelsea are believed to have dropped their asking price to £43.3m, and it appears another club have Nkunku on their radar, with Moretto providing an update on the situation.
He took to X.com and said:
“Inter, Christopher Nkunku is also on the list.
“The French Chelsea footballer is one of the top alternatives to Ademola Lookman, who remains the priority.”
Nkunku’s move to Chelsea simply hasn’t worked out despite the excitement surrounding his £52m arrival in 2023., and it’s best for all parties if he moves on.
With Nkunku set to be moved on, Chelsea are working hard to complete the signing of Dutch international Simons.
The Blues are locked in negotiations with Leipzig, and the German giants are said to want a total package of £60m.
