“Benfica have the last word, so patience is needed. We’ll see what happens. Surely, Antonio would love to join Juventus, but the transfer window is still closed, so we’ll see. He is an important player, he has quality and the best clubs in the world have followed him.”
Juventus are looking for defensive reinforcements in the January transfer window as Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal have suffered knee injuries and are not expected to return to action before the 2025-26 campaign starts.
Another Mendes client, Conceiçao, joined Juventus on loan last summer, and the Portuguese agent sees his client remain in Turin beyond 2025.
“His future is at Juventus. He’s very happy to be there, and the club is satisfied with him,” Mendes admitted.
“I hope the relationship continues for a long time.”
Conceiçao is on loan from Porto, and even if Juventus do not have an option to buy, there’s an agreement between the two clubs that allows the Old Lady to sign the 22-year-old for €30m at the end of the season.
Conceiçao has three goals and five assists in 18 appearances across all competitions this season.
