He replaces Stefano Pioli, who recently left the club following a disappointing season. Al-Nassr ended the campaign in third place.

They also fell short in the AFC Champions League, prompting the club to act quickly with a new appointment.

Al-Nassr believe Jesus has the experience to help the club win silverware.

Jesus returns to the SPL for a third stint

Jesus is no stranger to the SPL. He has previously managed Al-Hilal on two separate occasions.

His first spell came in the 2018–19 season, before he returned to the club in 2023 and stayed for two seasons.

Jesus guided Al-Hilal to multiple trophies, including the SPL title, the King’s Cup and the Saudi Super Cup.

The Portuguese manager was briefly linked with the Brazil national team role after leaving Al-Hilal.

However, Brazil eventually appointed Carlo Ancelotti once his exit from Real Madrid became official.

Al-Nassr are hoping that Jesus can make the most of the strong squad already at his disposal, led by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo recently signed a new deal and is eager to win silverware with the SPL giants.

Al-Nassr are aiming to end their recent trophy drought and believe that Jesus is the right person to lead them to success.
