Liverpool will clash heads with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium this Wednesday night as they look to secure a good result on the road in the EFL Cup. The Reds managed to earn an impressive victory over Nottingham Forest recently which will keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.

Jurgen Klopp will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation once again and is expected to make a whole host of changes to his first XI for this game. Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott will both get an opportunity to play from the start of this cup clash in midweek.

4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Bournemouth

Defence

Caoimhín Kelleher will feature in between the sticks for the Merseyside outfit as he looks to secure a clean sheet away from home. Jarell Quansah could get a chance to impress alongside Joel Matip at the centre of Liverpool’s defence as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.

Joe Gomez will feature as the right-back while Luke Chambers hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left flank. Both of them would get the license to get forward and express themselves in the final third.

Ibrahima Konate will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Curtis Jones, Wataru Endo and Harvey Elliott will make up Klopp’s midfield as they try to dominate the ball and create enough chances for Liverpool to win this cup game.

Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai will be availale for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Mohamed Salah would look to weave his magic on the right-wing while Darwin Nunez hopes to put his pace to good use on the left flank.

Cody Gakpo will lead the charge for the Reds on the offensive end of the field. The Dutch talent would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet and make a difference for Liverpool in midweek.
