“I still think we played a great game the other day. I was satisfied with some of the technical data from that game in Sweden. I see the team improving a lot.”

“I expect a tough match tomorrow. I saw Monza play Inter and they made a great impression on me. They don’t deserve to be where they are in the table,” said Juric on Saturday morning.

“Hummels is doing better, today after training we will decide if he will play tomorrow or not. The same with Dybala. Le Fée has started training with the group. The others are all fine.”

“We have a lot of room for improvement as a team and with regards to the ideas we want to express on the pitch,” he added.

“The main objective is to go to the Champions League, we are focused on that. To compete well on all fronts we need to have more players available. This is something that will take time.”

“We all have to grow a lot and tomorrow we have a great opportunity to recover points in the standings.”

“Pellegrini said it best the other day: what matters is the good of Roma. Of course at the beginning the team was in shock after De Rossi’s departure but we understood that the only way out is to work together. I honestly see us having taken steps in the right direction. We are moving forward.”

“The players are very focused, and I see a lot of progress how they’re adapting to my ideas. That’s why I say that on Thursday, regardless of the result, I liked how the team played.”

“In Sweden we had at least six goal-scoring opportunities. We made mistakes in the final meters, and we have to work to improve there. It takes quality but also spatial conception and body positioning.”

“I like what the team is doing. Thursday’s rotation was meant to let everyone play and see if we can count on the new players.”

“The presence of the fans is fantastic, and although I understand their frustration, their participation even in a negative moment means a lot to us. Their pressure can transform into something beautiful from negative.”

“Tomorrow I would be very happy to win the game, it would be fantastic – it represents a small final right before the international break.”
