A lot appeals to Arsenal about the profile of Noni Madueke, but no conversations have taken place between the Gunners and Chelsea.
The Blues are once again set for a busy summer and have already made three attacking signings in Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro.
Chelsea haven’t ruled out signing another attacker, and are thought to be in the market for a centre back as they look to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad for next season.
It’s been reported Chelsea want as many as nine attacking options in their squad next season, but it’s likely one of the current crop will have to leave if another attacker is signed.
It’s pretty much a given that Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix will leave, but another candidate for departure is Madueke.
Madueke is attracting interest from Arsenal, although it’s thought the Blues aren’t actively looking to sell the 23-year-old.

The England international scored seven goals and registered four assists in 32 Premier League games last season, and it’s been reported Chelsea could consider offers in excess of £45m for Madueke.
Madueke is currently part of the Chelsea squad at the Club World Cup, and Ornstein has provided an update on Arsenal’s interest.
“I think a lot appeals to Arsenal about that profile, he can play on both sides, known to many of the Arsenal players, London based and Chelsea are not adverse to conversations about trading, that goes for pretty much any of their players you could say,” he told The Athletic Podcast.
“Conversations more on the player side at this point, nothing club to club at the moment. It’s a fluid conversation at the moment – Madueke will have a say in it also, does every party want to make this happen?”
Despite three attacking signings Chelsea are also interested in West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus, with Tottenham also pushing to sign the Ghana international.

Chelsea are said to have held talks with the agent of Kudus, and it’s believed West Ham would accept offers in the region in £60m.
Kudus has an £85m release clause active in the first ten days of July for Premier League clubs, but it appears very unlikely the Hammers will get near that amount.
