Davide Frattesi has looked back on his three most emotional moments while at Inter Milan.
The 25-year-old included his late goal against Hellas Verona last January and Inter’s Serie A title celebrations among his most memorable moments, via FCInterNews.
Frattesi joined Inter from Sassuolo in the summer of 2023.
It was a big step up for the Italian international.
Across two seasons in Serie A with the Neroverdi, Frattesi had certainly proven his quality at the level of the Italian top flight.
Meanwhile, Frattesi had also become a full Italian international by the time that he joined Inter.
However, the Nerazzurri were always going to be something different for Frattesi.
And perhaps it’s not a surprise that Frattesi has had a very tough task on his hands getting a spot in the Nerazzurri starting eleven.
However, that certainly doesn’t mean that Frattesi hasn’t been made his contribution.
From goals to overall performances, the 25-year-old has left his stamp on an impressive eighteen months at Inter.
Success on the pitch at Inter has translated to plenty of special moments for Frattesi.
“Having arrived at Inter last season, my most emotional moment is the second star,” said the 25-year-old, referring to Inter’s twentieth Serie A title.
He haled “the Scudetto celebration” as something that made a particular impression.
“But also the first derby of the season,” Frattesi went on. The 25-year-old came off the bench and scored in stoppage time to round off a 5-1 win over AC Milan.
“And my last minute goal against Verona.”
“From the pitch, it seemed like people were coming at us,” Frattesi said of the scenes at the San Siro after his late winner against the Gialloblu.
“It was crazy.”
Meanwhile, Frattesi also gave his thoughts on the step up to Inter.
“At Sassuolo we used a bit different formation,” the Italian international said. “Even though the demands were the same.”
“The level here is higher,” Frattesi noted of being at Inter.
“It’s normal that you have to give your all to try and reach the level of the players who are used to always playing.”
“It wasn’t easy,” Frattesi admitted of adjusting to life at Inter. “But by putting your head down and working you can get there.”
