Inter take on Empoli on Sunday evening. They host the Tuscan side at the San Siro.

And there have been a number of doubts as far as player fitness for the Nerazzurri heading into the match.

Firstly, there is no question that Hakan Calhanoglu and Yann Bisseck will be absent. They are instead aiming to be back either against Monaco or AC Milan, reports Sky.

Then, Joaquin Correa will miss Sunday’s match, Sky anticipate. The Argentine has not managed to return to full training yet, and will target the following weekend’s Serie A clash with Lecce.

Acerbi & Frattesi Fit For Inter Vs Empoli Serie A Clash

There are a couple of pieces of better news for Inter, however.

Firstly, defender Acerbi will be part of the squad.

The 36-year-old was in the Nerazzurri’s squad to face Bologna on Wednesday. However, he did not feature.

Then, after that match Acerbi did some personalized work. This led to worries that he has not shaken off the thigh strain that’s kept him out for two months.

However, Sky reports, Acerbi trained normally with the group today. Therefore, there’s no doubt the former Lazio and Sassuolo defender will be available against Empoli.

The same is true of Frattesi.

The 25-year-old midfielder has been training individually due to a bit of muscular fatigue. However, Sky report that he is all on track to be available against Empoli.
