Inter Milan are at a phase of the season where they must juggle two fixtures a week.

Moreover, the matches that Inter are playing tend to be very important ones.

Tomorrow, the Nerazzurri face Lazio in the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia. They’ll square off for a chance to take on AC Milan in the next round.

Meanwhile, next weekend, Inter face Napoli in Serie A. That match will pit first and second in the table, and already has the feel of a potential title-decider.

Then next month there is a two-legged Champions League round of sixteen tie against Feyenoord. And right before the international break, another crunch Serie A match against Atalanta.

Inzaghi Won’t Play Inter Milan “B Team” Vs Lazio

Considering all of this, Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is having to be mindful of rotating his squad.

The fact that the top-of-the-table clash with Napoli is just around the corner is particularly important.

Therefore, Inzaghi is certainly planning to make some changes to the Inter starting eleven for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia match against Lazio.

However, that does not mean that Inzaghi will be underestimating the Biancocelesti.

It will not be a “B team” from the Nerazzurri coach. There will be a number of regular starters as Inter look to ensure that they have a strong enough team to win and reach the semifinals.
