Inter Milan have had a memorable week in Europe.

The Nerazzurri booked their place in the Champions League final. They did so in an all-time classic semifinal tie against Barcelona.

Then, Inter learned who their opponent in the final will be as Paris Saint-Germain saw off Barcelona.

This leaves open the possibility of Inter crowning their season with something truly special.

In the meantime, however, Inter still have three league matches to go.

The Nerazzurri are currently three points behind Napoli at the top of the table.

Therefore, Inter know that their fate is not in their hands as far as the title is concerned.

However, there remains every chance that the league leaders could slip up.

And if Napoli are to drop points before the end of the season, then Inter certainly won’t want the regret of failing to capitalize.

Therefore, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has given his squad a clear directive.

The Champions League final may be the priority at this stage. But that does not mean that the last three league matches are an afterthought.
