kicker (Germany): "It was an honourable draw that the Austrian runners-up can be proud of. Salzburg are left with mixed feelings though, after the goalless draw against Al-Hilal."

ESPN (USA): "The match had a high tempo despite temperatures of 99 degrees Fahrenheit [around 37 Celsius]. Although Al-Hilal had 19 shots to Salzburg's 13, it was a frustrating afternoon for both sides, with numerous missed chances."
