Inter to take part in the Club World Cup 2025: the details

Inter will compete in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. On Sunday, FIFA confirmed the format for the Mundial de Clubes FIFA, the official name for the competition that, from 2025, will involve 32 teams from six international confederations. Based on the approved principles of access and results in respective continental club competitions, FIFA announced the clubs who have already qualified for the tournament, which will take place between June and July 2025 in the United States.
Due to their ranking based on their performance in European competitions, Inter will be one of twelve sides from Europe to participate.
Inter have been drawn in GROUP E alongside River Plate, Urawa Red Diamonds and CF Monterrery, who we will face in the opening match of the competition.

NORTH & CENTRAL AMERICA, CARIBBEAN – 4 teams Via champions pathway (Concacaf Champions Cup) 2021: CF Monterrey (MEX) 2022: Seattle Sounders FC (USA) 2024: Club de Fútbol Pachuca (MEX) Lionel Messi's Inter Miami (USA) qualified as representatives of the host nation after winning the MLS Supporters' Shield. Los Angeles FC (USA) qualified by beating Club América (MEX) after Club León (MEX) were excluded from the tournament.

The first edition of the tournament will take place in the United States from 15 June to 13 July 2025.
