Inter remain on signing primary target Ademola Lookman at all costs and are prepared to submit a new transfer offer for the Nigerian international as the Nerazzurri await for Atalanta’s asking price.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that following the 27-year-old’s public statement on Instagram in which he announced that he submitted a transfer request and that promises that were made by the club were not maintained, Inter remain at the window as they are monitoring the situation very closely to understand the price-tag of the La Dea star.

Last week, the Biscione submitted an offer of €42m plus €3m in bonuses for Lookman, but Atalanta provided a dry no to the offer as La Dea remain firm on their €50m evaluation.

However, with the relationship between Lookman and Atalanta completely torn apart and the player desperate to depart Bergamo and join Inter, it remains to be seen if Atalanta will lower their demands or maintain their previous requests.
