Inter need sales in order to sign Koni De Winter | OneFootball

Despite being linked to him all summer, it does seem like the only way Inter are going to sign Koni De Winter is if they sell someone from their backline. Right now, Inter seem relatively content with the options they have at the heart of defence in Alessandro Bastoni, Francesco Acerbi, Benjamin Pavard, Yann Bisseck and others like Carlos Augusto and Mateo Darmian. De Winter is currently at Genoa and has previously been in the Juventus youth system. He has been a starter in Serie A for a couple of seasons now. However Cristian Chivu seems content with his options which is why Inter didn’t end up going forward with the deal for Giovanni Leoni from Parma either. Interestingly, as per Gazzetta.it, there was an approach for Bisseck from Crystal Palace for around €32m. The German has reportedly rejected the advance.
