Yann Sommer was exceptional between the sticks as Inter Milan stunned Bayern Munich 2-1 at the Allianz Arena last night.
Per multiple Italian sources via TMW, the Swiss veteran demonstrated his class on his old stomping ground.
Indeed, Yann Sommer returned to Munich, where he spent six months between January 2023 and the following summer.
However, he left Germany after Manuel Neuer’s recovery to join Inter Milan.
Last night, he returned to haunt his former club.

Sommer had another brilliant game in the Champions League.
There was nothing he could do to stop Thomas Muller from leveling the score in the 85th minute.
Luckily, Inter had Davide Frattesi to bail them out three minutes later.
However, the 36-year-old was impressive for the rest of the night.
Indeed, he made six stops, including a superb diving save to thwart Raphael Guerreiro.
Furthermore, Sommer’s composure on the ball was nothing short of commendable.
His calmness instilled confidence in the rest of the team as Inter delivered a remarkable showing in Munich.
