After nine seasons at PSG, Layvin Kurzawa (31) is now available on a free transfer following his contract expiration with Les Rouge et Bleu. The former French international could bounce back in Italy, as Inter Milan have added the left-back to their shortlist.

Kurzawa’s journey at PSG came to an end after nine years of ups and downs. After a last season in which he only played 7 minutes against Strasbourg, the left-back is eager to prove his worth elsewhere. In a recent interview with French media Carré, he declared having interests “just about everywhere” and that he will decide what is best for his future in due time. While the former French international has recently declared that he was not interested in a new challenge in France, his future could lie in Italy.

Inter Milan to choose between Layvin Kurzawa and Marcos Alonso

According to a report from La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Kurzawa is one of the two players tracked by Inter Milan to replace Tajon Buchanan, the other being Marcos Alonso, another free agent since his recent departure from Barcelona. Called up with Canada for the Copa America, Buchanan severely injured himself and is expected to be out for at least the end of the year, forcing Inter Milan to look out for a temporary replacement. The Italian media had underlined that the Nerazzuri are looking for an experienced player who could immediately fit into Simone Inzaghi’s tactics. It remains to be seen if the sporadic game time that benefited Kurzawa this season could give Marcos Alonso the edge.
