Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi attended the Ambrogino d’Oro Award for the first time, paying homage to the club supporters and the city of Milano.

The 48-year-old joined the club in 2021, arriving as a successor to Antonio Conte. While he failed to lift the Serie A title in his first two campaigns, it was the third time’s a charm for Inzaghi.

The Piacenza native’s team was unstoppable this season. Inter steamrolled their path towards the second star, mathematically clinching the title with five rounds to spare. They finished the job by beating AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina.

Therefore, Inter received the prestigious Ambrogino d’Oro award which is reserved for special achievements.

“We know that we wouldn’t have done it without them. They were always with us on this ride which allowed us to be here.

“Thank you all and Forza Inter.”

The Nerazzurri will lift the Serie A trophy this Sunday following their match against Lazio at San Siro.
