According to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter Milan have made enquiries into Olympique de Marseille’s Luis Henrique (23).
Luis Henrique’s performances in a Marseille shirt have caught the attention of the Serie A league leaders. This season, the winger has been a revelation, scoring seven and assisting five in Ligue 1, which has helped Marseille launch a challenge for a podium position – albeit a challenge that has faltered in recent weeks.
However, Di Marzio writes that it is Luis Henrique’s flexibility that has impressed Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi, and it is a profile that is thought to be missing from the current squad. The winger can play on either flank and also as a full-back, with former head coach Jean Louis-Gasset referring to Luis Henrique as his “Swiss army knife.”
Inter will hope that a good relationship with Marseille, which has seen the club agree deals around Joaquin Correa and Valentín Carboni in recent seasons, could help their bid. Di Marzio believes that Marseille want at least €30 million, while Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in a deal.
GFFN is also aware that Luis Henrique has attracted the interest of Premier League sides, who have also made enquiries with Marseille over a move.
