Keeper out with wrist injury
Alexander Schlager suffered a wrist injury towards the end of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga season. Examinations have shown that our Red Bulls' 29-year-old goalkeeper will be out for some time as he recovers. There is no operation required, but Schlager's wrist will need to be protected by a splint for several weeks.
Whether he can play in the FIFA Club World Cup depends on the course of his recovery.
