Inter Milan wingback Denzel Dumfries still has some way to go before he can return from his muscle injury.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They also report that Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez will be back against Parma this weekend.
Inter Milan are currently without Netherlands international wingback Denzel Dumfries.
The 28-year-old had enjoyed a run of starts prior to the international break. However, just prior to the break against Atalanta, he suffered a thigh strain.
Dumfries did not play during the break. Nor has he returned for Inter since the return from the international break.
Wingback Denzel Dumfries has already missed two matches for Inter with his current injury.
The Dutchman did not feature against Udinese in Serie A, or in yesterday’s Coppa Italia semifinal first leg against AC Milan.

And Dumfries will certainly miss a few more matches for Inter.
The former PSV wingback will also be sidelined for this weekend’s Serie A clash with Parma. And he will also miss the first leg of Inter’s Champions League quarterfinal tie against Bayern Munich.
Inter’s hope would be to get Dumfries back not long after that.
However, reports Sky, there is still a way to go.
The broadcaster report that there is no clear return date for Dumfries at the moment.
Meanwhile, though, the news for Inter captain Lautaro Martinez is more positive.
The Argentine picked up a thigh problem of his own during the international break. This has caused him to miss Inter’s matches against Udinese and Milan.
However, reports Sky, Martinez will be back for Saturday’s Serie A match against Parma.
