Manchester United have reportedly agreed to grant Jadon Sancho his desired severance package to allow him to complete a seamless transfer to Juventus.
The winger has had his sights set on a move to Turin for several weeks now after Chelsea paid a £5 million penalty to bypass their £25m buy obligation upon the culmination of his loan spell.
Having failed to receive any other concrete approaches, Sancho is now preparing for a Serie A switch, where he’ll add another of Europe’s top leagues to his CV along with the Bundesliga and Premier League.

One obstacle in the clubs’ negotiations is that Sancho was adamant about being paid off beforehand, which was revealed towards the end of last week.
United seemingly took a few days to deliberate the proposal, as reports from Italy (via Corriere dello Sport) have now suggested the Reds have green-lit such an arrangement. As a result, the 25-year-old is free to agree personal terms and wages with the Old Lady.
In turn, it’s thought United will receive a total of £21.6m including bonuses through facilitating Sancho’s departure, having forked out £73m to sign him from Borussia Dortmund back in 2021.
The Englishman is now poised to leave Old Trafford once and for all after five years in M16 and 12 months before his contract expires.
He has racked up 83 appearances for the side, scoring 12 goals and assisting six. Sancho did look marginally better throughout his temporary spell at Stamford Bridge, but his performances still ultimately left much to be desired.
