Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has admitted that a Chelsea transfer target has gone from 70% chance to 80% chance of happening!

It’s a potential new transfer that many Chelsea fans are eager to see happen now and has been going on a little while and has actually now probably turned into what you would call a transfer saga.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea make big progression on deal to sign new attacking midfielder!!

But finally, Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig to Chelsea is looking increasingly more likely and Romano is giving Blues fans even more confidence on this one going through.

Last week, he said there was a 70% chance of the deal happening, now he is saying there is an 80% chance of the deal happening.

It comes off the back of Romano saying yesterday that Simons was now actively pushing this move to happen, telling his club to let him go!

It’s always been said that this deal rests on further Chelsea outgoings getting done, and Romano gave the ‘here we go’ to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall joining Everton yesterday in a move that should help.

Speaking on DAZN yesterday in comments shared on X, Romano said:

“Last week I give Xavi Simons a 70% to Chelsea, today on Monday I am going to give it 80%! It looks increasingly likely, still some work to do, but advanced.

“Xavi is waiting for Chelsea.”

Calma Calma!

He also said this yesterday:

“I know fans want Xavi Simons straight away but Calma, I told you selling players will be the next step and now Chelsea are getting lots of important money from sales. Carney Chukwuemeka to Dortmund could also be done at any moment.”
