(Images): Erratic Chelsea player known for positional mistakes is now coaching at Cobham | OneFootball

The season is over but there’s still football being played at Cobham.

Today Chelsea published some pictures of some of our first team stars training with one of the youth groups – but as coaches rather than players.

Thiago Silva and Marcus Bettinelli are well into their 30s and obvious choices to be doing their UEFA B license. But also out there was Marc Cucurella. All 3 are doing the practical element of their course, having done the book work in the background all season.

The fact Cucurella was doing them had already emerged a couple of months ago, but it’s such an oddity we couldn’t help but note it again. It’s just another interesting facet to add to his curious personality. We love it! We just hope he’s not in charge of teaching any young players defensive positioning…
