Cole Palmer had a season he could only have dreamt of following his move to Chelsea from Manchester City on deadline day last summer.

The 22-year-old left his boyhood club in search of more playing time, and his decision certainly paid off, with the England international proving to be one of the best players in the Premier League last season.

Palmer scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists in his first campaign of playing regular Premier League football, having been a bit part player at City.

The former City man has lit up the league with his exceptional performances which saw him named Premier League Young Player of the Year, and he also cleaned up at Chelsea’s end of season awards.

Palmer became the youngest player in Premier League history to finish with the most goal contributions in a league season, finishing ahead of Erling Haaland and Ollie Watkins.

Palmer will be hoping he picks up one more award, the PFA Young Player of the Year award, and it’s hard to argue against him not getting it.
