One Chelsea player has challenged himself to do even better with some admirable high standards even after being superb already.

Blues boss Enzo Maresca has already given his thoughts about new signings Liam Delap, Dario Essugo, and Mamadou Sarr who all join his squad out in America for the Club World Cup this summer.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea add two NEW strikers to their shortlist as well as Hugo Ekitike!

And it looks like Chelsea are still trying to add another new defender to the ranks as well, with an apparent offer being rejected for a Serie A star this week and other such links that have come up in recent weeks.

There will be plenty more incomings and outgoings at Chelsea during the long summer transfer window that will reopen tomorrow morning on the day Chelsea play their first Club World Cup game of the tournament that kicked off in the early hours of Sunday morning.

‘In every game I try to give my best,’ Moises Caicedo explained on the Chelsea website. ‘I do not put a limit on that, the sky is the limit. I have always told myself that and I believe in every game I can do better and improve.

‘I am very happy with what I have been doing in this team during the season, how I have helped the team, and now I’m going to keep trying to reach another level. That is my mentality.’

Caicedo also helping new signings

‘I always try to help the new players in the squad,’ added Caicedo. ‘Mamadou has the French players, of course. Andrey is close to me and I can help him, Dario also as he speaks Spanish.

‘I try to help them in any way I can, but I also try to show them. I want to show them every day on the pitch what I do, how I train, how I am as a professional.

‘So I am happy they are all here, they are all great talents and they will all help us.’
