One of Southampton’s out-on-loan stars believes that he can create moments of danger for opposition teams.
Saints are back in the Premier League after one season in the Championship and they have rejigged their squad to adjust as they try to avoid relegation.
Russell Martin’s side have loaned in the likes of Maxwel Cornet and Lesley Ugochukwu but also sent some players out on loan to balance the books.
Shea Charles was loaned to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday while Samuel Edozie joined Belgian side Anderlecht on a season-long loan after the UK transfer window was shut down.
The English winger admitted that as soon as he came to know about Anderlecht’s interest in him he did not hesitate.
Edozie stressed that his job is to bring the threat from the wing and he believes that he has the right tools to do so.
“My job is to bring danger and I managed to do that”, Edozie told Belgian daily DH.
“I hope the fans appreciate what I bring to the team.
“Physically, I also feel ready to start if the coach gives me that chance.”
Anderlecht coach Brian Riemer handed the Saints loanee his debut in Belgium last weekend against Westerlo and he feels that Edozie needs to be handled carefully.
The Southampton loan star will be looking to be the source of danger tonight when Anderlecht face Genk in a league clash.
