Arsenal face Leeds this evening in their first home game of the Premier League season.

The Gunners welcome the newly-promoted side to Emirates Stadium hoping to make it two wins from two at the start of the new campaign.

After a hard-fought win over Manchester United last weekend, Mikel Arteta’s side are expected to overcome Leeds but will have to guard against complacency.

Arsenal have won just one of their last five home games, stretching back to last season, letting leads slip on three occasions. This may give some encouragement to today’s visitors.

Leeds marked their return to England’s top-flight with a somewhat controversial 1-0 win over Everton on Monday night as Lukas Nmecha scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot.

It’s a first meeting between the two sides since April 2023 when the north London outfit ran out comfortable 4-1 winners with Gabriel Jesus on target twice.

TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra HDR. Coverage starts at 5pm BST ahead of the 5.30pm kick-off.

Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Sky Go app.
