It is probably the biggest rivalry in Italian football and Juventus taunted their rivals before kick-off and during the game.
Before reading the Juventus’ starting XI, the stadium announcer said the Bianconeri had “38 Serie A titles and three stars.”
Officially, the Old Lady has 36 Scudetti, as two were revoked due to the Calciopoli scandal in 2006, and one of those was given to Inter by default.
Despite that Juventus remain the only club with more than 30 domestic titles, which also means they are the only side that can show three stars on their chest.
Inter won their 20th Serie A title last season, so they put a second star on their shirts at the beginning of the current campaign.
Juventus also showed their three stars on the stadium’s giants screen.
