The 22-year-old arrives in Sinsheim having scored two goals in eight Austrian Bundesliga appearances. He also racked up five Champions' League deployments for the Austrian champs. Yardimici has scored six goals in 13 caps for the Turkish U21s since debuting at his country's highest youth level in September of 2022.

“Erencan has developed well at Sturm Graz in recent months, so we believe that he can help our team enormously in the future with his speed, strong aerial and goal-scoring ability,” Schicker noted in a club statement, “For this reason, we have come to the conclusion that the loan to Graz should be ended prematurely."

In other Hoffenheim-related transfer news, Germany's "Sport Bild" tabloid reports that Schicker and the TSG administrative team have located a place to park "dead-weight" actor Marco John. The 22-year-old former German youth international will, per the paper, return to SpVgg Greuther Fürth on loan.

John recorded five assists in 25 league appearances whilst on loan at the Kleeblätter during the the 2022/23 2. Bundesliga campaign. John sits on an expiring contract, meaning that Hoffenheim are eager to cash in on him.
