Hoffenheim confirm new deal for Asllani | OneFootball

Promising striker Fisnik Asllani has pledged his future to TSG Hoffenheim by signing a new long-term deal, the Bundesliga side confirmed on Sunday.

“Fisnik is a highly talented striker who showed exactly what he’s capable of during his loan spell at SV Elversberg last season. His goals and assists speak for themselves. He really made the most of his time in Saarland to take the next step in his development. The loan move paid off for everyone involved,” said TSG Hoffenheim’s managing director of sport, Andreas Schicker.

“Naturally, many other clubs also took notice of Fisnik’s progress and strong performances in the second division - he attracted plenty of interest. That’s why we’re even happier that he’s chosen to commit his future to TSG. We’re convinced he will keep developing here and that we’ll all enjoy watching him in the years to come.”

Asllani himself said he is “very happy” to have extended his stay at the Sinsheim club.

“After going out on loan the last two years, I just felt that my journey at Hoffenheim is far from over. I’m highly motivated and want to establish myself at TSG and prove myself in the Bundesliga. I know the club well, I know many of the players and the staff - all of that will make it easier for me to settle back in, so I can focus fully on football again."
