‘He has balls’ – Carlo Ancelotti hails Real Madrid youngster after win over Stuttgart | OneFootball

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has late on Tuesday moved to praise an up-and-coming member of his side’s frontline.

This comes owing to his efforts in Real’s latest outing.

Los Blancos of course marked their return to action a short time ago, kicking the club’s European campaign for the season into gear in a Champions League meeting with Stuttgart.

When all was said and done, the Spanish champions emerged on the right side of a 3-1 result, owing to goals on the part of all of Kylian Mbappé, Antonio Rüdiger, and Endrick.

The latter’s strike, which arrived deep into injury-time, has since sparked widespread chatter, after Endrick opted to ignore both Mbappé and Vinícius Jr. on his way to picking out the bottom corner from 25 yards.

Had the effort not found the net, the 18-year-old would likely have been on the receiving end of a scolding on the part of his two altogether more senior teammates.

Speaking to the media post-match, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his young frontman’s on-pitch decision-making was put to Carlo Ancelotti.

And, in his response, Real Madrid’s headmaster took the opportunity to praise Endrick’s character:

“Endrick taking that shot? He has balls!”

Ancelotti continued:

“What Endrick is doing at his age is unbelievable, even with the few minutes.”
