Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in Premier League history and sits amongst the competition’s top scorers ever.

In the 30+ years of the league, few players have been more prolific than the England captain in terms of both goals scored and goals scored per game. He truly has had a remarkable career since fully breaking into the Tottenham side under Mauricio Pochettino in the 2014/15 season.

But which sides has he scored the most Premier League goals against?

Let’s look at the top five sides to suffer at the hands/feet of Harry Kane – if there is a tie, goals per game will be the deciding factor.

5. West Ham United – 11 goals

Kane has played 19 games in his Premier League career against the Irons, with two of them while he was on loan at Norwich City in the 2012/13 season. No goals came here, nor in any of his five games for the Canaries.

For Spurs, he has been a constant source of goals in one of their many London derbies. He has scored braces on four separate occasions, with two coming in the infamous 3-3 draw in October 2020. Spurs had gone three up inside 16 minutes, only for West Ham to pull them all the way back in the final eight minutes of the game.

Eight of his 11 goals in the fixture have come in home games, which have been played at White Hart Lane, Wembley and the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in Kane’s time at the club.

4. Southampton – 11 goals

Kane’s 11 goals in 15 games against Southampton nudges them just ahead of West Ham, not that they’ll be happy about it.

He has only scored more than once in any game against Saints, and it was a memorable day for the England man. On Boxing Day 2017, Kane’s hat trick helped Spurs to a 5-2 win at Wembley. The first goal was his 37th league goal of the calendar year, which put him clear of Alan Shearer’s 1995 Premier League record.

He later added two more either side of half-time to bring his year total for both club and country to 56, which would make him the top scorer in world football for 2017. He was the first player since Edin Dzeko in 2009 to top the list above Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The start of the 2020-21 season saw Kane break another record against the Saints, and again it came in a 5-2 victory. He scored once and assisted all four of Son Heung-min’s goals – this was the most goals ever assisted by one player to another in Premier League history.

3. Arsenal – 14 goals

Kane’s history with the old enemy dates to his childhood when he was released by the Gunners. The infamous picture of a young Harry in an Arsenal jersey is a source of entertainment and humour for many on the red side of North London.

It might be the only thing Arsenal fans find funny about Kane when it comes to the fixture, as his record is incredible. Both goals in a come-from-behind 2-1 win at White Hart Lane in February 2015 set the tone, as he scored in his first five games and nine of his first ten games against the Gunners.

One of his best-ever Spurs goals came the following season when he curled in a stunner and took off the protective mask on his injured face in a moment of pure joy.

He also scored two goals in a 3-0 victory at the backend of the 2021/22 season which pushed Spurs back into top four race before they overtook their great rivals at the post for Champions League qualification.

2. Everton – 14 goals

Kane has rarely gotten stuck against the Toffees, with a near goal per game record and just one loss in 15 outings, which came in a home game meaning he’s unbeaten at Goodison Park in his career.

He has scored two goals on six separate occasions against Everton, which includes four straight games that covered the backend of 2016/17 and first half of 2018/19 seasons.

His 2022 goals in the fixture have both been significant – his two in a 5-0 win in March moved him past Thierry Henry in the all-time Premier League goalscorer list, while a penalty in the October 2-0 victory came on his 400th career appearance.

1. Leicester City – 18 goals

As well as Norwich, Millwall and Leyton Orient, Kane has also spent time away from North London on loan at Leicester City. Just two goals in 15 games came in his time with the Foxes in the 2012/13 Championship season.

Upon returning to Spurs, he decided to bite the hand that used to feed him, with 18 goals coming in his 15 Premier League games to date against his former club. His hot streak came instantly, with four goals in the 2014/15 season, which included a hat trick at home.

Another four goal haul came in 2016/17 but in just one game (he missed the home game through injury). After missing out on the title to Leicester the year prior and somehow coming third (Spursy), Kane punished them during a 6-1 win, which helped him to his second consecutive Premier League golden boot.
