Hansi Flick describes Barcelona’s season in one word | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick was recently challenged with summing up the club’s season to date in just one word.

This, of course, comes fresh off the Blaugrana all but securing a third title of what has been a thoroughly productive campaign to date.

With the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup already in the beg, Barcelona put arch rivals Real Madrid to the sword in La Liga on Sunday, to move seven points clear atop the table with just three games to play.

Though their Champions League endeavours were brought to an end in devastating fashion at the hands of Inter Milan last week, Barca, in turn, will celebrate a hugely successful 2024/25 upon the term coming to an official close later this month.

The aforementioned Hansi Flick, for his part, has proven the leading driving force behind as much, with the German’s all-action style having proven a perfect fit in Catalunya’s capital.

And if his latest comments are anything to go by, then Flick too appears to be happy with the work done in his debut season in Spain.

During an exchange with the media on the back of a fourth successive triumph in El Clásico over the weekend, the former Bayern Munich boss was asked to sum up Barcelona’s campaign in one word.

And Flick went on to respond:

‘Spectacular.’
