Sleeping giant Hamburger SV are believed to be in hot pursuit of highly rated talent Noah Adigo, according to BILD and Sport.de reports.
The 14-year-old could be signed this week, and it is believed that HSV have fought off stiff competition in the process. Multiple Bundesliga clubs have shown interest while Austrian outfit RB Salzburg also explored signing the youngster.
The skilful and pacey midfielder is still relatively unknown to many. He currently plies his trade with the Under-15 team at Regionalliga Nord club VfB Lubeck.
The stats speak for themselves as far as Adigo is concerned – an impressive 9 goals in 15 outings is a nice return. He also featured for the German U-15 team back in September 2024.
It has been suggested that the 14-year-old will directly join up with the HSV U-17 team from the summer with a contract running until Adigo turns 18. From then, a professional contract will be activated.
Sharp-eyed Hamburg fans may recognise the surname from the past. Noah’s older brother – Ryan Adigo – also joined the Hanseatic giants from VfB Lubeck and represented HSV at youth level from 2015-17 before a move to Gladbach.
Sitting in second-place in the 2.Bundesliga, the club from the Hanseatic City are hopeful of a return to Germany’s domestic top-flight since their first ever relegation back in 2017-18.
