Hacked: Juventus ‘announce’ signing of Real Madrid star | OneFootball

Activity on the official ‘X’ account of Italian giants Juventus has gone viral online on Monday.

This comes after the Bianconeri, out of the blue, ‘announced’ the signing of Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler.

The post in question, which can be seen below, accompanied a photo of the Turkish international with the head-turning caption:

‘Welcome to Juventus, Arda Güler! The rising star of football is now part of the Juventus family! Ready to make history together on this new journey?’

For those of a Juventus persuasion to have gotten their hopes up, and those Real Madrid supporters left in a state of shock and disappointment, however, clarification has since been provided.

In an ensuing release a short time ago, the ‘Old Lady’ of Italian football announced that their X account has been hacked:

‘Our Juventus English account has been compromised. Please ignore the false information being published on this account. We are working on the issue.’
