MIAMI – The inaugural Concacaf W Champions Cup has reached its final matchweek of the group stage, with the final spots in the semifinals up for grabs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The first-place spots is both groups are also up for grabs. Wednesday’s doubleheader will feature the top two teams in each group going head-to-head.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs. Portland Thorns

Vancouver Whitecaps FC hosts the Portland Thorns in Group B on Tuesday at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Whitecaps FC will look to get their second win in the group stage in its second home bout. Jourdan Ziff and Brianne Reid are two players who have found the back of the net and will seek to increase their tally with the Canadian club.

Concacaf legend Christine Sinclair will lead the Thorns in the rivalry match between Pacific Northwest clubs. Payton Linnehan is also an important player for the US side, helping the team to its latest win. The NWSL side arrives in Canada needing a victory to have a chance to advance to the next round.

Gotham FC vs. Tigres Femenil

NJ/NY Gotham FC hosts Tigres UANL Femenil in Group A on Wednesday at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, USA. The two teams will compete directly for the top of Group A as the current NWSL Champions face the six-time Liga MX Femenil winners.

Both teams arrive with historical wins. Gotham FC had their largest margin of victory after scoring 13 goals in Jamaica. Forward Lynn Williams made history by scoring the fastest hat-trick of the W Champions, doing so in a span of 11 minutes.

Tigres Femenil won against the Costa Rica champions LD Alajuelense in the previous match. Ana Dias, who scored her second goal in the group stage, proved her importance for the Amazonas since signing in the summer by helping the club become the first to advance to the final round of the inaugural W Champions Cup.

San Diego Wave vs. Club América Femenil

San Diego Wave hosts Club América Femenil in Group B on Wednesday at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California, USA. The battle between the first and second-place teams in the group will decide the top spot.

The Wave will rely on home support in search of its fourth straight win. San Diego will look to keep its positive offensive streak with players like Kaitlyn Torpey, who led her team to a 2-nil victory at Whitecaps FC.

América Femenil will be looking to keep the momentum of their last match, a 5-nil win against Santa Fe FC, and advance to the semifinals. The two-time Liga MX Femenil champions are led by captain Kiana Palacios, who has scored in two of three matches.

CF Monterrey Femenil vs. LD Alajuelense

CF Monterrey Femenil hosts LD Alajuelense in Group A at Estadio BBVA in Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

After earning a draw in their last game, Rayadas will look to its home field for a second set of points. One of their most important players will be captain Rebeca Bernal, who leads the defensive line and can also contribute to the scoresheet.

The Costa Rica champions are unable to advance to the next round. Players like Sofia Varela, who scored in the previous match against Tigres Femenil, will look to guide the team to a positive result to conclude its campaign.
