AC Milan came away with all three points against Bologna on Friday evening and Santiago Gimenez was one of the key players. Taking a look at the newspapers this morning, they mostly agreed with each other on the ratings.
Another comeback was needed for Milan as Bologna took the lead early in the second half, through their star Riccardo Orsolini. Without a doubt, ahead of the Coppa Italia final, this has boosted the Rossoneri’s confidence while the Rossoblu might have some questions.
The Italian newspaper (see photos below) all agreed that Gimenez was the MOTM for Milan, as we also said in our ratings. Christian Pulisic was also given a high rating by two of the newspapers, while Samuel Chukwueze was praised by all three.
As for the worst player, Strahinja Pavlovic took home that award after failing to pick up Orsolini on the goal. The Serbian has struggled a bit in similar situations throughout the season and on Wednesday, he cannot afford to do it again.
