Inter Milan youngster Yann Bisseck refuses to complain about a lack of first-team opportunities at Giuseppe Meazza.

During his latest interview with Sky Sport, as reported by FCInterNews, the 23-year-old discussed stiff competition for places within Simone Inzaghi’s squad.

Bisseck joined Inter from Danish outfit Aarhus in a €7 million deal in the summer of 2023.

Inter President Beppe Marotta recognized his talent and, in turn, handed the German center-back a lengthy five-year contract.

While Bisseck’s deal runs out in 2028, his start to life in Serie A has been challenging.

Given vast top-class defensive options at Inzaghi’s disposal, he has thus far had to settle for crumbs.

Indeed, he has only made three league starts this season, often playing second fiddle to Benjamin Pavard.

However, he will likely be part of Inzaghi’s starting XI in tomorrow night’s UEFA Champions League clash against Young Boys.

Speaking to the press in the build-up, Bisseck admitted he’s not worried about his limited game time.

Asked what’s the secret behind Inter’s continuity despite constant rotations, Bisseck replied: “Because we are Inter, we are a great team.

“It’s normal that some players don’t always play, but when your moment comes, you have to be ready.

“We’re all like that, we’re all happy to play. Plus, we’re strong, and that makes the difference.”

Inter will meet Young Boys at the Stadion Wankdorf.

That will be a rare opportunity for Inzaghi’s team to play on the artificial pitch.

However, the synthetic pitch doesn’t faze Bisseck.

“It’s something new for us, but we’re too strong. We’ll play like we always do, we’re well-prepared, and we hope to win.”

Inter will be out to get three more points on the board after routing Red Star Belgrade 4-0 last time out.

As for Young Boys, they’ve lost their opening two Champions League games by an aggregate score of 8-0.
