Gasperini to leave Atalanta after 9 years

The future coach of Roma is still a puzzle and among the names most insistently linked to the Giallorossi bench is certainly Gian Piero Gasperini.

Claudio Ranieri has however denied interest in the Atalanta coach, stating in a press conference that “He will not be the new coach of Roma.”

Meanwhile, as reported by journalist Luca Cilli of Sky Sport, the possibility of separation between Gasperini and Atalanta remains very high despite the contract until June 30, 2026.

Regardless of the coach’s decisions, the club (especially sporting director Tony D’Amico and co-chairman Stephen Pagliuca) is oriented to change technical leadership to start a new cycle.
