Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma era has officially kicked off with the latest appointment of Frederic Massara as the club’s sporting director.

With Massara’s entrance, the emphasis will be put on younger players in the incoming market.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, Gasperini has been clear in his discussions with Roma’s management.

The veteran technician has asked the club to ideally pursue players aged between 22 and 26 years.

The ex-Atalanta coach wants talented young players with potential and margin for growth.
