Alejandro Garnacho has turned down a chance to link up with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr, according to reports.

The Manchester United winger appears set to depart Old Trafford during the current transfer window having been one of five players omitted from United’s pre-season tour of the United States.

The Argentine has been instructed to resolve his next move amid interest from multiple suitors.

Al-Nassr had presented an offer for Garnacho to make the switch to Saudi Arabia and reunite with his idol Ronaldo, but The Telegraph claims he declined the proposal.

The 21-year-old is reportedly keen to remain in Europe, and United have given him permission to explore options for a move.

Chelsea, who were previously linked with Garnacho in January, are now said to be weighing up a potential swap involving Christopher Nkunku heading to Manchester.

Napoli have also entered the frame, but the finances involved could become a sticking point given that United are hoping to secure £70million for Garnacho - though his wage demands may make him easier to offload than Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Antony.

United are aiming to arrange loan exits for all three of Garnacho's fellow outcasts, with Rashford understood to be eyeing a move to Barcelona.

Antony impressed during a loan spell at Real Betis in the latter half of last season, joining as part of a £17million co-ownership deal.

Meanwhile, Sancho has drawn attention from Juventus following the collapse of Chelsea’s permanent transfer attempt, reportedly due to disagreement over United’s share of his wages.
