From Spain: Roma advance first bid for Villareal striker Alexander Sorloth | OneFootball

Roma have Alexander Sorloth their latest target in the opening days of the summer transfer window.

The capital club appear to be interested in the Norwegian attacker of Villareal.

As reported by Spanish news portal Relevo, Roma have advanced their first bid for Sorloth who is now the Giallorossi’s primary target for the attack.

The offer, however, was promptly turned down by Villareal who are requesting 35 million euros for the player who collected 26 goals and 6 assists in all competitions last season.

However, one thing is certain: Villarreal will have to sell in the summer to settle the accounts and the center forward is one of the assets available that the Spaniards must consider getting rid of.

According to the news portal, Roma is already evaluating how to improve the offer.

Negotiations are on and expected to continue.
