The last six days of Manchester City market activity has certainly been eventful, both in the way of rumours and confirmed news both in and out of the Etihad Stadium.

The arrivals front has largely been fronted by the return of Ilkay Gundogan, although there is ongoing talk of the Premier League champions looking into the possibility of recruiting in the striker role to support Erling Haaland this season.

As for exits from Pep Guardiola’s side, the last few days has brought about news of a further three departures, including one big-money move to the Saudi Pro League, ending a long-running saga involving the player.

Arrivals

Ilkay Gundogan has signed a one-year contract at Manchester City until the summer of 2025, with the option of a further 12 months. (Official)

Manchester City are aware of interest from Atlético Madrid in Matheus Nunes but they are yet to make a formal approach. City are yet to make a final decision on his future, but as things stand they have not ruled out his departure before the transfer deadline.
