Real Madrid have secured a berth in the FIFA Club World Cup Round of 16, where they will take on Juventus.
With Kylian Mbappe likely to return to the pitch, Real Madrid will be confident of defeating the Italian giants, who will be without the services of Nicolo Savonna.
Should Real Madrid secure a victory against the Old Lady, they are expected to lock horns with either Borussia Dortmund or Monterrey in the quarterfinals.
This is where things get interesting. Mexican club Monterrey is currently home to Real Madrid’s defensive legend Sergio Ramos.

Now, according to MARCA, Ramos is dreaming of a match-up against Real Madrid in the Club World Cup, which could possibly come in the quarterfinals.
However, in order to face Real Madrid in the last eight, Monterrey would have to defeat Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
The Black and Yellows are looking quite strong in the Club World Cup and it would require an absolute miracle for Monterrey to secure an upset.
Not to mention, Real Madrid would also have to win against Juventus, which will be no mean feat considering the way the team has performed under new coach Igor Tudor.
Nevertheless, Real Madrid fans will be excited by the mere possibility of a match-up between Sergio Ramos’ Monterrey and Real Madrid in the FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinals.
Even if the match-up doesn’t happen, Ramos is sure to cheer for Real Madrid to go all the way and secure the FIFA Club World Cup this summer.
