Fulham take on Manchester City at Craven Cottage on Saturday, in a match that could be pivotal for the Premier League title race.

Arsenal currently lead the league, but only by one point, with City having a game in hand. What’s more, City’s final two games are against a Spurs side whose fans want them to lose, and West Ham United at home.

Realistically, Saturday’s trip to Fulham is looking like the best remaining chance for City to drop points. If they don’t, they’ll be strong favourites to win the league.

Arsenal have a few former Gunners in the Fulham camp, one of whom is Brazilian winger Willian. The 35-year-old has urged his teammates to go out and win the match, despite his high regard for their opponents.

“We cannot be afraid to play against them,” Willian said. “We need to go there [on] Saturday and try our best to win the game.

“We have examples – we played against two big teams and beat them at home. And now we have another opportunity to do the same.

“It’s always good to play against the big teams, especially City who are – for me – the best team in the world.

“Of course, it will be a tough one, a tough game to play, but I think together we can do something special.”

Along with Willian, Alex Iwobi and Bernd Leno could also be involved in the match, and Arsenal fans will be wishing the trio all the best on Saturday.
