Foden and Haaland have been catalysts for yet another fine season for City as we now chase down the Premier League crown and FA Cup trophy to add to the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup honours we won earlier in the 2023/24 campaign.

Foden has been a vital member of the sky blue squad for many years now but this season he’s really come of age and been a star man in the team, earning personal best numbers in both Premier League goals and assists during this impressive campaign.

The 23-year-old has hit 16 top-flight goals, clocking up two hat-tricks so far this term, away at Brentford and in a home victory over Aston Villa.

Foden has already been named the FWA Men’s Player of the Year, voted for by leading sports journalists and the attacking midfielder will be hoping to add this gong to his growing list of honours.

Haaland has struggled with injuries at various points during the 2023/24 campaign but this has not stopped his thirst for goals.

2022/23’s Premier League Player and Young Player of the Season leads the race for the Golden Boot after scoring 25 goals in 28 games, four ahead of former City ace Palmer.

His titanic tally includes two top-flight hat-tricks – three against Fulham in our 5-1 win in September 2023 and four in this past weekend’s 5-1 victory over Wolves and he also scored five goals against Luton in our 6-2 FA Cup win at Luton.

City are bidding to win this award for the fourth successive season.

Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold emerged victorious in 2019/20 before Foden won two in a row across 2020/21 and 2021/22 while Haaland triumphed in our Treble-winning season of 2022/23.

Voting for the award is open now and you can vote for Phil and Erling by clicking here.

It will close on Monday 13 May and the winner will be announced on Saturday 18 May.
